Alertman talks directly to the Icinga 2 REST API, so the only thing your servers need is an API user. No Icinga Web, no database, no account, no tracking.

Requirements

Icinga 2.11 or newer with the REST API enabled (port 5665), and an ApiUser. Alertman works with Icinga’s own certificate authority: you review the server’s certificate once and Alertman trusts exactly that certificate.
